About Notre Dame
The Notre Dame Schools are made up of a three and four year old pre-school, kindergarten through sixth grade elementary and a seven through twelve junior/senior high building.

Students make the transition from the sixth grade up to the junior high level smoothly after numerous tours of the junior/senior high building and classrooms.

Students from the eighth grade seemlessly transition into the ninth grade as well. No junior high students are in classes with high school students.

Missions
Notre Dame Elementary is a high quality Catholic school committed to building the Kingdom of God. Student learning in a nurturing environment of mutual respect is a top priority, challenging each student to produce quality work, to provide service to others, and to become a lifelong learner.

The mission of Notre Dame Catholic Junior and Senior High School is to provide all students with a Catholic environment and the resources to develop in stewardship, scholarship, and citizenship according to God’s plan.

Faith
Notre Dame students practice their faith at school. Each day begins with prayer and each school gathers for Mass regularly. We welcome students of all faiths. A campus minister and/or priest is always available to the students.

Academics
We have a 100% graduation rate. All of our students have passed the proficiency tests by graduation. 95% of our seniors continue their education beyond graduation. ACT scores and Terra Nova Test scores well exceed National averages.

Athletics
Our athletic program has a winning tradition. We are part of the Southern Ohio Conference (SOC). Our sports teams have won several SOC championships, district, regional and even state championships.

Arts
Notre Dame Elementary holds a "Grandparents Evening and Art Show" where students invite friends, family (and of course Grandparents) in to view their artwork and projects from the entire year. The band also presents a concert at the end of the school year as well. Students at the Junior/Senior High school hold an art show each year. The Drama Club performs a show at the Southern Ohio Museum and Cultural Center and the elementary school, in conjunction with the Missoula Children’s Theatre produces a professional theatrical program with the students, at the Vern Riffe Center for the Arts.

Tuition Assistance
All families are eligible for some type of tuition assistance. Programs available are: SCRIP, parish support, need-based pre-established scholarships and academic scholarships. Notre Dame’s tuition is one of the least expensive tuitions in the Columbus Diocese.

Unique Curricula
The elementary school offers Spanish beginning in the four year old preschool classes and it continues through graduation. Latin is offered at the High School. Junior High students may qualify for high school credit in Math and Spanish. High School students can attend college, for dual credit, at no additional cost.

Service Projects
All students are required to do service projects. By serving others, students feel they’ve made a difference in their community. Seniors perform over 1200 hours of service projects in one year.
