The Notre Dame Athletic Foundation

The purpose of the Notre Dame Athletic Foundation (NDAF) is to support, foster and promote the best methods of creating and maintaining a superior athletic program at Notre Dame Junior and Senior High School.

The NDAF is comprised of 42 dedicated, diversified and talented trustees which includes an executive committee comprised of the president, vice president, secretary, treasurer, past president, two trustees at large appointed by the president and the Notre Dame High School (NDHS) Athletic Director. The election of a new trustee begins with a nomination at a regular monthly meeting by an existing trustee. The nominee is then contacted by an appointed trustee to confirm the nominees interest, to explain the NDAF’s expectations of it’s trustees and to confirm the nominees commitment to the NDAF. The nominee is then elected by a majority vote at the next regular meeting.

NDAF trustees are expected to attend monthly meetings, work at least one night of bingo each month, work at the annual Notre Dame Pot-of-Gold and participate in any other activities or fundraising that the NDAF undertakes.

The NDAF provides all of the funding for the athletic programs at Notre Dame Junior and Senior High School. They also provide funds for Notre Dame Elementary.

The primary NDAF fundraisers are the Thursday and Friday night bingo games at the CAY building and the annual Notre Dame Pot-of-Gold. The NDAF also provides the football stadium crew as well as a crew for the home basketball games.
