FRIDAY NEWSNOTES NOVEMBER 6, 2009

1. PARENT TEACHER CONFERENCES are scheduled for November 12th from 2:30-7:30 for grades K-6. This past Wednesday, your child brought home a scheduled conference time for you. Again, please check and see if this time is convenient; if not, please call the school office (353-8610) and request a time change. It is important for us to meet with all parents at this Fall Conference.
PRESCHOOL CONFERENCES will have hours scheduled from 7:45AM-7:00 PM on Thursday, November 12th. On Friday, November 13th, additional conferences will be held from 8:00-2:30 for Mrs. Glockner. THERE WILL BE NO PRESCHOOL CLASSES ON THURSDAY. ON FRIDAY, MRS. SMITH WILL HAVE CLASS BUT MRS. GLOCKNER WILL NOT HAVE CLASS.

2. Grades 4, 5, and 6 will walk to Tracy Park on November 11th for the Veterans? Day Program.

3. Please remember to sign and return your child?s Report Card envelope.

4. Kindergarten would like to say ?THANK YOU? to Jeremy Triplett and Danielle Campbell, for coming to their class to play guitar for ?Gg? week.

5. Our Quiz Bowl team will take part in the county Quiz Bowl match on Wednesday, November 18th at 3:30 at the Scudder building.

7. Picture retakes are scheduled for Friday, November 13th. If your child was absent on picture day of if you were not satisfied with your child?s picture, s/he may have pictures taken on November 13th. Please send the entire packet of pictures back if you want a retake.

8. Mrs. Smith?s preschool class won the BOXTOP contest for the month of October. Please continue to save and send in boxtops for the school.
