FRIDAY NEWSNOTE NOVEMBER 13, 2009

1. FOOD DRIVE: Thank you so much for helping with the ?WE CARE ABOUT
HUNGER? food drive last week. The parishes and schools collected money and food for all the pantries in the county. Thanks to all families who contributed to this food
drive.

2. CONFERENCES: Thank you for attending parent teacher conferences this week. If
you were not able to attend and would like to meet with your child?s teacher, please call the office.

3. SCRIP: There will be a scrip order sent on November 16th but not on November 23rd, the week of Thanksgiving.

4. THANKSGIVING VACATION: THERE WILL BE NO SCHOOL ON
WEDNESDAY (11/25), THURSDAY (11/26), OR FRIDAY (11/27).

5. DRESS DOWN DAY: November 24th for all eligible students.

6. The next AUCTION MEETING will be November 23rd at 6:00 PM in the high school library. All parents who wish to help are encouraged to attend. To donate an item, please contact Patty Tennant in the Development Office at 353-2354.

7. The Notre Dame Elementary School Board will hold the November meeting on November 18th at 6:00 PM in the NDE cafeteria.

8. QUIZ BOWL Our QUIZ BOWL team will take part in the county tournament at the old Scudder School building on November 18th at 3:30 PM. Mrs. Layne is the faculty advisor. The team has practiced after school and has had scrimmage matches. We wish the Quiz Bowl team good luck in the county match!

10. Notre Dame parents and staff are encouraged to stop by Market Street Caf? on Monday, Nov. 16th from 3:30-4:30 pm for an hour of health and wellness. Dr. Norm Raymond, Board Certified OB/GYN, and expert in Women?s Health, will be the guest speaker. If interested, please contact Stephanie Schaefer at stephsot@yahoo.com as seating is limited.

11. NOTRE DAME ELEMENTARY SCHOOL PARENT ASSOCIATION IS HOSTING (for the third visit!) CASH FOR GOLD. DATE: MONDAY, NOVEMBER 16th
