In helping our students gain a better understanding of Jesus' teaching in everyday living, our students are involved in a variety of service projects both inside and outside the classroom. From blood, canned food and clothing drives to festivals and crop walks. Students in all grades participate in various service projects. Our seniors provide over 1200 hours of community service in one year. They have the opportunity to work with the others of all ages including the sick and disabled. From these experiences, our students often learn more about themselves than they learn about others. They also learn to recognize Jesus in the face of many different people. It is our hope that through the efforts of the service projects, our students will gain a greater understanding of patience, compassion, love, and will always be ready, willing, and able to reach out to anyone in need. We believe these experiences are extremely beneficial for every student as they grow in their relationship with Christ and respond to his call to be servants. |
